The 312 rooms follow the Hyatt Place layout: a king or two double beds, a separate seating corner with a sofa bed, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Premium King rooms have more space, and Deluxe Twin rooms suit colleagues sharing. Rooms are soundproofed against the airfield, and family rooms with a sofa bed sleep four.

Breakfast is served in the Gallery Kitchen, a buffet with hot dishes, and the Gallery Café serves lunch and dinner from an all-day menu. The Gallery Market beside reception is open 24 hours with sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks, and the Coffee to Cocktails bar serves coffee by day and beer, wine and cocktails in the evening. The old names of these outlets on this site were Zoom Restaurant, Zoom Lounge & Bar and The Market; Hyatt now uses its brand names.

Facilities and Services

The StayFit gym with cardio machines and free weights is open around the clock. Five conference rooms handle meetings and small events. The underground hotel car park (110 spaces, 14 of them with electric-vehicle chargers) is charged per hour or per day; check the current rate when you book, because it is normally below the airport’s terminal car parks. Pets are accepted for a fee. Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm.

Location and Transportation

The hotel is at De-Saint-Exupéry-Strasse 4 in Gateway Gardens, the business district on the north-east edge of the airport. Gateway Gardens S-Bahn station is in front of the hotel: the S8 and S9 run to Terminal 1 in two minutes and to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof in about 12, every 15 minutes each through the day, as our airport to city centre guide explains. Bus X17 links Terminal 1 with the Gateway Gardens Mitte stop beside the hotel, and bus X77 does the same from Terminal 3; a taxi to Terminal 1 takes about five minutes. By road the A3 and A5 motorways are minutes away and the Frankfurter Kreuz interchange is next door. Frankfurt’s centre is about 20 minutes by taxi.
