Hilton Frankfurt Airport is inside The Squaire, the 660-metre glass building laid across the long-distance railway station beside Terminal 1: 249 rooms and suites directly above the ICE platforms, with a covered bridge to Terminal 1. Of the four hotels you can walk to under cover from the terminal, this is the one for rail connections, for a five-star night before an early flight, or for a layover long enough to enjoy RISE and The FIFTH bar. Its sister hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport, is at the other end of the same building.
Guest Rooms
The 249 rooms include 83 Executive rooms and 17 suites. Guest rooms have a king or two single beds, floor-to-ceiling windows onto the building’s atrium or the airport, soundproofing, air conditioning, a work area and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Executive rooms and suites add access to the Executive Lounge with breakfast, afternoon refreshments and evening drinks. Suites range up to the Presidential Suite. Published rates start from around €193 in low season and rise sharply during trade fairs.

Breakfast and Dining
RISE is the restaurant on the lobby level, serving the breakfast buffet and a menu of international and regional dishes at lunch and dinner, with an open kitchen. The FIFTH Lounge & Bar is the hotel’s bar, open late with cocktails, snacks and a view into the atrium. Breakfast is charged separately on most rates. The Squaire itself has cafés, a supermarket and takeaway counters on its public floors, and Terminal 1 is a few minutes away for more.
Facilities and Services
The fitness centre is open 24 hours and the wellness area has a sauna and steam room; there is no pool. The Executive Lounge is available to Executive room and suite guests and to Hilton Honors Diamond members. Eleven meeting rooms handle conferences and events in the building.
Covered parking in The Squaire’s garage costs €42 a day and has electric-vehicle chargers. Pets up to 8 kg are accepted for a €50 fee. Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. Digital check-in and Digital Key work through the Hilton Honors app. There is no hotel shuttle.
Location and Transportation
The Hilton is in The Squaire, Am Flughafen, directly above the Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof (long-distance station). From Terminal 1 arrivals, follow signs for the long-distance station and The Squaire; the covered bridge and moving walkways take five to eight minutes. From the ICE platforms, take the lift or escalators up into the building. The regional station for S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 to the city is under Terminal 1, about ten minutes on foot. ICE trains reach Cologne in under an hour, Stuttgart in about 75 minutes and Munich in about three hours, and Lufthansa Express Rail and Rail&Fly tickets are valid from this station; see our train station guide. Frankfurt’s main station is 11 to 15 minutes by S-Bahn, and the city centre about 20 minutes by taxi.
