Moxy Frankfurt Airport
Moxy Frankfurt Airport is the hotel that usually wins on price in Gateway Gardens: 305 compact rooms at Amelia-Mary-Earhart-Strasse 5, opened in 2017, a few minutes from the S-Bahn station one stop from Terminal 1. Check-in happens at the bar, the lobby doubles as a work and lounge space, food is available around the clock from the grab-and-go counter, and the rooms are small by design. For a single night before a flight, that is exactly the right trade.

Guest Rooms
The 305 rooms are Moxy Sleeper rooms with a queen or two single beds, a walk-in shower, a flat-screen TV, motion-activated night lighting, wall pegs and a folding desk instead of wardrobes and side tables. A few Family rooms sleep three or four. Booking platforms list the rooms without air conditioning, which guests notice in a hot July; the windows are soundproofed. Wi-Fi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members.

Standard room amenities include:
- Walk-in shower
- Wall pegs and folding desk
- Flat-screen TV
- USB charging
- Hair dryer
- Free Wi-Fi for Marriott Bonvoy members
Breakfast and Dining
The Moxy Bar serves breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, coffee through the day, bar snacks and small plates, and cocktails in the evening; it is also the front desk. The 24/7 grab-and-go counter has sandwiches, snacks and drinks at any hour, paid for at the bar. There is no full restaurant, but Gateway Gardens has restaurants and a supermarket within a short walk, as our Gateway Gardens guide describes.

Facilities and Services
The fitness centre is free and open around the clock, and there is a meeting room. On-site parking costs €2.50 an hour, €28 a day or €100 a week, with no EV charging. One pet up to 35 kg is welcome for €15 a night. Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm; Mobile Key works through the Marriott Bonvoy app, and luggage storage is monitored. Payment is by card or contactless. The building holds a LEED certificate.

Location and Transportation
The hotel is at Amelia-Mary-Earhart-Strasse 5 in Gateway Gardens, next to the Park Inn. Gateway Gardens S-Bahn station is a few minutes away; the S8 and S9 run to Terminal 1 in two minutes and to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof in about 12, every 15 minutes each through the day. Bus X17 from Terminal 1 and X77 from Terminal 3 stop at Gateway Gardens Mitte nearby. Marriott quotes 5.2 km by road to the airport, which is the motorway loop a taxi takes; allow ten minutes. There is no shuttle. Our airport to city centre guide covers fares and the Terminal 3 guide the new terminal.

Nearby Alternatives
The MEININGER Frankfurt Airport is the other low-price option, with dorm beds as well as private rooms. The Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport next door has a restaurant and bigger rooms, and the Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt Airport includes breakfast for a little more.
