IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3
IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3 is the hotel that Terminal 3 changed most: 358 rooms at Am Luftbrückendenkmal 1 in Cargo City Süd, 1.1 km from the new terminal and 4 km from Terminal 1. Until 2026 it was the quiet airport hotel by the Berlin Airlift memorial; since Terminal 3 opened it is the closest bed to the terminal that now handles most non-Lufthansa long-haul flights. It runs a paid shuttle to both terminals, serves breakfast from 4:30 am on request, and gives every guest a free city transport ticket.

Guest Rooms
The 358 rooms are 23 sq.m. each in the IntercityHotel style: Business Double, Twin and Triple rooms, Superior Double and Twin rooms with better views and extras, Family rooms made of two connected 23 sq.m. rooms, and accessible rooms. Every room has air conditioning, soundproofed windows, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with shower and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast and Dining
The breakfast buffet is served from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, and an Early Bird breakfast from 4:30 am is available on request for the first departures. The restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Pub JU52, named after the Junkers aircraft, is the bar, and a 24/7 Grab & Go counter sells snacks and drinks around the clock.

Facilities and Services
The hotel has a sauna and a fitness room, 17 meeting rooms for up to 180 people, and free luggage storage. Public parking is available in the car park next door for a fee. Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. The FreeCityTicket, included with every stay, covers RMV public transport in Frankfurt for the length of the stay.

Location and Transportation
The hotel is at Am Luftbrückendenkmal 1 in Cargo City Süd, on the south side of the airport by the Berlin Airlift memorial, 1.1 km from Terminal 3. The hotel shuttle runs to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 every 30 minutes from 5:00 am to 11:30 pm; it is charged per adult and free for children up to 12. At Terminal 1 it uses the hotel-shuttle stop on the arrivals level between exits B5 and B6. Terminal 3 has no railway station of its own, so the shuttle or a taxi is the practical link; our Terminal 3 guide covers the SkyLine and bus alternatives.

Terminal 1 and the long-distance station are 4 km away and the regional station 4.5 km. With the FreeCityTicket, the S-Bahn from the airport station to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof costs nothing extra; the city centre is about 20 minutes by taxi. Frankfurt city centre and Gateway Gardens are across the airport, so this is not the hotel for a Terminal 1 departure if a closer one is available.
Nearby Alternatives
For Terminal 1, the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport and Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport are on the covered walkway. The Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt runs a free 24-hour shuttle to Terminal 1. The NH Frankfurt Airport in Kelsterbach is the other hotel with a free shuttle, on the west side of the airport.
